Mountain trikes
Take the chairlifts all the way to the top of Kubínska hoľa and enjoy a thrilling ride down on a mountain trike. The trike is equipped with two independent brakes for each wheel, ensuring a safe ride. It is especially suitable for more experienced riders who will enjoy plenty of fun on it.

Trike ride – lower and upper section. The ride is limited by a 60-minute time limit, within which the trike must be returned. The time limit starts from the moment of the first pass through the turnstile. In case of late return, a penalty of €5 for every started 15 minutes will be charged. Tickets for both chairlifts + trike rental can be purchased only until 16:00.
Trike ride – lower section only. The ride is limited by a 30-minute time limit, within which the trike must be returned. The time limit starts from the moment of the first pass through the turnstile. In case of late return, a penalty of €5 for every started 15 minutes will be charged. A ticket for the lower chairlift + trike rental can be purchased until 16:30.
Before purchasing a trike ticket, you must first complete and sign the rider instruction form at the rental shop, located right next to the ticket office in the lower part of the resort. Only after submitting the properly completed and signed form will you be able to purchase tickets for the ride.
Rental is available only in person at the lower station rental shop – trikes are not transported uphill without riders.
For persons under 18 years of age, the signature of a legal guardian is required.
The equipment also includes a helmet.
Age conditions
- “Adult” – Riding a mountain trike is permitted only for persons aged 15+ with a minimum height of 150 cm.
- “Children” – Riding a mountain trike is also allowed for children under 15 years of age, but only in tandem with an adult. If two persons ride one trike, its handling must not be compromised and the maximum permitted total weight of 100 kg must not be exceeded.
- “ISIC” ticket – Available for holders of ISIC, ITIC, EURO26 and GO26 cards. To claim the discount, the customer must present an identity document and a valid card
- “Senior” ticket – Available for persons over 60 years of age. A valid ID must be presented.
- “Disabled” ticket – Available for holders of a disability card or disability card with escort. To claim the discount, the customer must present an identity document and the relevant disability card.
Tickets and transport
Lower + upper chairlift + trike rental (lower and upper section)
This includes a trike ride on both the upper and lower sections (approx. 4.8 km). SKI PARK Kubínska hoľa has two connected chairlifts: the lower lift – Minčol I. (A) goes to the middle of the resort, and the upper lift – Minčol II. (B) goes from the middle to the top. To reach the summit, you need to use both chairlifts. The ticket price includes both lifts and trike rental.
Lower chairlift + trike rental (lower section only)
This includes a trike ride on the lower section only (approx. 2 km). The ticket price includes the lower chairlift (A) and trike rental.
Tickets are issued on a chip card. The deposit for the chip card is €2. The deposit will be refunded only for undamaged and fully functional cards at the machine located at the main ticket office in the resort.
Operating Rules – Mountain Trikes
- Riding a mountain trike is permitted for persons aged 15 and over with a minimum height of 150 cm.
- Each rider is required to wear a helmet at all times during the ride.
- Each rider must fully focus on riding the trike during the entire ride.
- The mountain trike is designed for one rider only, with a maximum load of 100 kg. If two persons ride one trike, the handling must not be impaired and the maximum permitted total weight of 100 kg must not be exceeded.
- The rider must adjust the riding speed according to their abilities, the condition and nature of the track, and other foreseeable circumstances.
- The mountain trike is intended for use only on the designated track provided by the operator and is capable of handling only minor terrain irregularities. Obstacles such as drainage bumps, ruts, large stones or rough terrain must not be ridden over. Otherwise, there is a risk of damage to the trike frame and injury. The operator bears no responsibility for damage or injury caused by failure to follow these instructions.
- Riding a mountain trike outside the designated track is STRICTLY PROHIBITED!
- In case of an accident on the track, the rider is obliged to provide first aid and report the incident to authorized staff of the operator, such as the personnel at the chairlift stations.
- In case of damage to the mountain trike caused by failure to follow instructions, the operator reserves the right to claim financial compensation up to 100% of the value of the trike.
- If the rider stops on the track, before continuing they must ensure that they do not endanger or obstruct other riders.
- Everyone on the track must behave in a way that does not endanger health or life, or cause damage to themselves or others.
- It is prohibited to modify any sections or obstacles on the track in any way, except in situations where safety is at risk.
- Each rider agrees to maintain order in the area and on the tracks, to comply with the General Terms and Conditions, these operating rules, and the instructions of responsible staff.
- Trikes can be rented only with a valid chairlift ticket and may be used only on designated tracks within the resort. Rides are limited by the specified time limit, which starts from the first pass through the turnstile. Tickets for both sections can be purchased until 16:00, and tickets for the lower section until 16:30.
