We groom 14 km of tracks daily, which, if necessary, are covered with technical snow using Johnson Controls technology.
What does Kubínska hola offer?
From 16:00 to 19:00 the center is CLOSED.
Ski alpinists and all unauthorized persons are prohibited from entering the slopes! There is a risk of injury from the cables of snow machines and track-making machines, especially winches with unrolled rope.

🏔️ Access to the Slopes
Skiers are transported to the slopes by two 4-seater chairlifts and 8 ski lifts, which together provide a capacity of up to 9,000 people per hour. Thanks to this, skiing at Kubínska is smooth and without long waiting times, even during weekends or holidays.
The ride from the lower station to the very top takes approximately 25 minutes, with a transfer to the second chairlift halfway up. If necessary, the staff briefly slows down the lift to make getting on and off comfortable and safe for every visitor.

At Kubínska, we continuously strive to make your skiing experience even more comfortable and seamless. Each season we introduce new improvements – a FASTPASS for rides without waiting, extended sections with technical snowmaking, and better on-slope services.
Snowmaking is provided by technology from Johnson Controls, ensuring our slopes are covered with high-quality snow throughout the entire winter – even when the surrounding areas start to lose theirs.
And thanks to SMART skipass prices, you can plan your skiing more advantageously. They work like airline tickets – the earlier you buy, the less you pay. Skipasses start from just €19.
⛷️ Varied Slopes
At Kubínska, you can choose from 14 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes of varying difficulty levels.
- Easy slopes – wide, with a gentle gradient, suitable for beginners and families with children,
- intermediate – smooth and longer sections for recreational skiers,
- difficult – steeper passages in the upper part of the resort that will test the skills of more experienced skiers.
The difficulty of individual slopes is influenced by their gradient, length, altitude, and terrain profile, ensuring every skier finds a route suited to their abilities.

From the moment you pass through the turnstile at the ticket office, the journey to the top of Kubínska hoľa takes approximately 25 minutes. 🚡 However, don’t forget that halfway through the route, you need to change to another cable car that takes you to the very top. Under normal conditions, the ride⛷️ on the first cable car to the middle of the hill takes about 15 minutes, and another 10 minutes from the middle to the top.
If any of the passengers have difficulty getting off, the staff will slow down the cable car for a moment to make getting off more comfortable and safer – in which case the journey to the top may be slightly longer.
Kubínska hoľa has two chairlifts and several ski lifts.

- B – connects the middle of the resort with the top of Kubínska hoľa.
- Ski lifts⛷️:
- C and D – two parallel ski lifts in the lower part of the resort, leading almost to the middle.
- E and F – two parallel ski lifts from the middle of the resort to the summit.
- G – a lift that can be boarded in the second half of the slope and also leads to the top.
- H and I – two beginner lifts P1 and P2 in the lower part of the slope, also accessible from the upper parking lot P3.
- S – a lift used by the ski school.
Yes, sledding and snowboarding are allowed, but only at the bottom of the slope. It is necessary to maintain a safe distance and choose a location that prevents collisions between skiers and sledders.
Yes, the ski slope at Kubínska hoľa is regularly maintained and covered with snow. ❄️ It is groomed every day before the resort opens and after it closes. At the end of the day, you can usually feel that the slope has been skied on for several hours, but this is to be expected at any ski resort.
