Yellow Cycling Route – Easy | 9.1 km Vrcholovka – Chata na Kubínskej holi – Kazárovo – Pikula – Mačkovo

An easy cycling route suitable for families with children and less experienced riders. The route passes through beautiful mountain scenery and offers a relaxing outdoor experience with stunning views.

Red Cycling Route to Kubínska – Difficult | 31 km Dolný Kubín – Beňova Lehota – Kubínska Hoľa – Sedlo Príslop – Hruštín – Babín – Lokca

A more demanding route designed for experienced cyclists, leading from Dolný Kubín into the mountain environment of Kubínska Hoľa. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of Lower Orava, the Western Tatras and the surrounding hills. The route combines paved and forest sections and offers several opportunities to rest and enjoy refreshments.

For more experienced cyclists, the area around Dolný Kubín and Kubínska Hoľa offers an extensive network of cycling routes. These routes connect Dolný Kubín with the cycling trails of Upper Orava, the village of Rabčice and the Polish municipality of Lipnica Wielka. Around 250 kilometres of marked routes are divided into 17 sections ranging from easy and moderate to challenging difficulty levels.

The colour coding of the individual sections follows standard cycling trail marking conventions. At key route intersections, cyclists will find 49 directional signposts and 21 information boards. The routes lead through valleys, across ridgelines and mountain meadows, offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape as well as opportunities to discover historical landmarks and other points of interest throughout the region.
