Rasťo Baránek vs Štefan Svitko

On 22–23 August, Kubínska will become the stage for an adrenaline-fuelled showdown unlike anything ever seen in Slovakia. For the very first time, Dakar Rally legend Štefan Svitko will go head-to-head with multiple Slovak Downhill Champion Rasťo Baránek.

Both riders will take on Bengál, one of Slovakia’s most demanding downhill trails.

Can a motorbike conquer this technical downhill course faster than a mountain bike? Or will Rasťo Baránek prove that Bengál belongs to downhill riders?

🔥 The winner will be decided on Saturday, 22 August.

But that’s not all! The weekend also brings plenty of adrenaline, entertainment and activities for the whole family.

Event Programme

🏁 Svitko vs Baránek Race – the first-ever showdown between a motorbike and a mountain bike on a downhill track. The exact race time will be announced soon.

🤝 Meet & Greet – meet Štefan Svitko and Rasťo Baránek in person, get an autograph and take a photo together. The exact time will be announced soon.

🚴 BIG AIR (22–23 August) – throughout the weekend, professional riders will perform spectacular jumps into a giant inflatable airbag. Visitors will also have the chance to try BIG AIR themselves!

Professional demonstrations will take place three times a day.

🚲 TREK × Najšport Test Days (22–23 August) – test the latest TREK bikes throughout the weekend. The Najšport team will be on site to answer your questions and help you choose the right bike.

🎤 Paci Pac (Saturday, 22 August | 1:00 PM) – younger visitors can enjoy a fun-filled live show by the popular duo Paci Pac, packed with songs, laughter and great entertainment.

🧠 Daily Quiz with Michal Vojtek (Sunday, 23 August) – test your knowledge on the terrace of Srdcovka Restaurant and compete to win a KubínskaPASS season pass. More information →
